Virtual Class (link to follow)

The final workshop in the series will focus on the actual process of designing using free and low-cost tools and resources. I’ll be giving a hearty primer on Canva, an extremely useful tool for designers and non-designers alike, as well as sharing some of my favorite methods, resources, and best practices for making graphic designs come to life. We’ll cover resources for the entire design process- everything from finding inspiration to creating your designs to sharing them with a team (or the world). This workshop will be a one-hour long presentation with space for questions after each section.

This workshop is a part of a sliding scale three-part virtual workshop series geared towards non-designers that aims to bring clarity and ease to the sometimes mystifying world of graphic design. This is a great starting point for anyone looking to level up their graphic design skills, even if you’ve got zero design experience. These workshops were created for activists, organizers, artists, and anyone working towards encouraging lasting change for a more beautiful and equitable world. Each workshop comes with a free .pdf of the presentation as well as a list of resources.

Pricing for these workshops is sliding scale. I offer four tiers of sliding scale per session:
Pro Bono Tier: $0
Sliding Scale Tier: $15
Supporter Tier: $30
Super Supporter Tier: $45
I ask that if you can afford to pay for a ticket that you please do so, as 50% of proceeds from these workshops will go towards HIAS Pennsylvania, an organization that provides legal and social services to low-income and at-risk immigrants and refugees.

Additional tips or donations can be sent via Venmo to @corinne_d.
