Open Fairways is an LGBTQ+ golf initiative that promotes queer and trans joy in golf, a sport where marginalized identities are underrepresented.

Open Fairways wanted a very kitschy, 1950’s style sign that gave a touch of Palm Springs and Archie comics. I wanted this sign to be reflective of a vintage mini-golf style sign that would share a bit of what the initiative offers while also being very visually engaging and not emulate any existing golf aesthetics.
